Costers del Priorat. Pissarres Priorat 2004
A Proprietary Blend Dry Red Table wine from Priorat , Spain
Review by Jay Miller eRobertParker.com #169(Feb 2007)
Rating. 87
The 2004 Pissarres, is of 60% Grenache 40% Carignan from 40- to 50-year-old vines .the wine was aged 12 month in used French oak. This is a rustically-styled Priorat with ist blue/black color and black cherry, currant and mineral –accented perfume. On the mid-palate it comes across as somewhat hard and compact and the finish was a bit dry. Perhaps time will round out this big fellow.

Costers del Priorat. Pissarres Priorat 2004
92 pints red
This elegant red shows good focus, with boysenberry, licorice and dark chocolate flavors over wellintegrated tannins. Floral and smoke notes linger on silky finish. Best from 2008 through 2015.
